Jeffrey Ritchie is the Owner & Founder of Equipment Dispositions Inc., operating as e-Dispositions (edispositions.com), a leading capital equipment auction and liquidation company.
Jeffrey began his career in 1993 with The Ross-Dove Company, laying the foundation for what would become a decades-long career in asset recovery and industrial liquidation. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area—Silicon Valley—he has worked with a “who’s who” of the technology and manufacturing industries. As he often says, “from Apple to Zenith,” with clients including Boeing, Celestica, Digital Equipment, Flextronics, Fujitsu, GE, Hitachi, IBM, LSI Logic, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, Packard Bell, Read-Rite, Toshiba, Xerox, and many more.
During this time, Jeffrey played a key role in numerous large-scale, complex liquidation projects. Notably, he led the complete, wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling liquidation of multiple Applied Magnetics facilities, including their HDD plant in Goleta, California, and their slider manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia. Additional major projects included global plant closures for industry leaders such as Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital, AMD, Intel, and National Semiconductor.
